Luca Silvestri
Luca is trying to be a self-made man who acts as if logic were my logic; as if one did a work rather than being a worker; as if being cynical were a more sophisticated answer; as if helping were not a tyranny; as if my virtual alter ego weren't much much cooler than my real alter ego; as if there were a real self to be found in Mexico after taking peyote or in some unexplored inner space; as if tomorrow were another day rather than one more; as if hollywood catastrophist movies wouldn't make people hope something interesting happened in life; as if "optimization" were a synonymous of "improvement"; as if my new sweater wouldn't be outdated next year; as if going to the gym three times a week were a free choice of mine; as if I could get the 10% free toothpaste without buying the whole package; as if it were easy to choose which corn flakes I wanna have for breakfast every morning; as if accusation were not some sort of guiltiness; as if my alarm clock made in China, my clothes made in Bangladesh, my car made in Japan, my watch made in Taiwan and my TV made in Indonesia couldn't explain why I'm unemployed in a Western Country; as if smoking were not an excess of enjoyment; as if human skin were a smooth, unflawed surface. It's all right, cookery soothes discomfort. I'll be away on a pic-nic, so please leave a comment.
